The session was all about insights to understanding vaccines and looking into deeper aspects of vaccine development across the globe. He covered basic biology of vaccine and how it actually works in addition to the current leading vaccines developed by different countries and organisations. The session was really interactive and helped several participants solve their quarries pertaining to current pandemic and vaccine development processes.The session also included a session of “How the City Works?” on the Assam floods by Arnav Patel.

A brief talk was introduced from this Session, which was titled as “How Does a City work?” by Arnav Patel, a Student. It mainly focused on the problems that a particular city faces and a constructive solution towards overcoming them. Mumbai floods were discussed in this session. The session ended with a fun yet scientifically knowledgeable game.

Topic: Novel Flagellar Motion: Escaping the traps
Flagella aids motility of bacterium. Two types of motions are known, swimming (in fluids) and swarming (on surfaces) due to flagella. Screw-like motion (clock-wise & counter-clock-wise) has recently been brought to light provides motility in semi-solid mediums (traps). The lecture ended with a fun yet knowledgeable game section!
